POINTS TO CONSIDER WHEN PRICING / HIRING YOUR WEDDING DISC JOCKEY

In order to cut costs, save our clients money and provide the very best possible value, DJ Brian Vogel
avoids purchasing leads from an online party booking system or outside entertainment resource. WHY?
Because marketing costs affect two things... The PRICE a DJ charges for their service & the QUALITY of
SERVICE a DJ is able to provide their clients. These "additional costs" can be broken down into two
categories... DIRECT COSTS per lead / per gig ... Costs charged by a lead generating service such as
Thumbtack.com or WeddingWire and INDIRECT COSTS, such as advertising.  If a disc jockey averages
between 35 and 40 weddings each year and their annual marketing budget is $5,000, this comes out to
$125 PER GIG. For a disc jockey that is only charging $500 per show, $375 doesn't go far to cover other
operating costs, including investing in new & improved equipment and still leave a profit!

Even this web site is being built my myself as a cost cutting measure. In the end, YOUR WEDDING is what
is important, Not my web site!

Reliable, Pro-grade equipment that gets regular maintenance checks. Backup equipment for anything
that could fail. Legal music with unlimited song requests. Advance planning help  Professional MC skills,
music skills and vendor cooperation. Companies that do events full-time and rely on their good
reputation to keep food on the table.
